Wanneroo is home to many Market Gardens so it makes sense that it has great local Farmers Markets too.  Maggie & Dave Catley from MADCAT Photography provided their personal review of some of the best.

The Original Wanneroo Markets on Prindiville Drive are a great mix of fresh fruit and vegetables and a large variety of mixed stalls but we decided to visit 2 of the newer markets to hit the scene.

Eden Beach Farmers Market

This Market is right next to the beach and open every Saturday from 9am to 12pm. It has it all, fresh food straight from the growers, food vans and plenty of locally handcrafted goods including jewellery, candles and health foods and more.

For themarket-2 kids there is a massive playground right next door, a bouncy castle and plenty of open space. If it gets too hot you can even take a dip in the ocean just down the steps! This market has a great relaxed feel to it and is growing every week.

Yanchep Monthly Markets

Held on the last Sunday of the Month January to November frommarket-3 8am to 2pm you’ll find 50+ stall holders in both indoor and outdoor areas.

There is a wide variety of stall holders from local fresh food & meat producers to handmade crafts and not for profit organisations like our friends at Native Animal Rescue.

You’ll get live entertainment throughout the day from local performers and even your dog is welcome with a food truck dedicated to your pet’s needs.

The City of Wanneroo is already home to fresh food growers and now it is becoming home to great local markets too. Why not visit for yourself and get the freshest produce along with gifts made in Wanneroo.
