Play a round of mini golf by day or night at Wanneroo Botanic Gardens
Wanneroo Botanic Gardens Mini Golf is fun for the whole family. Spend an afternoon wandering around the lush gardens, enjoy a meal at the onsite cafe Leapfrogs and test your skills with a round of mini golf by day or night with glow in the dark golf balls!
Glow in the dark dinosaur themed mini Golf at Chillisaurus
If mini golf is your thing then you can’t miss Chillisaurus Mini Golf. This 18 hole, fully indoor mini golf course is surrounded by dinosaurs, from the carpet to the walls and even the balls glow in the dark! It’s an experience like no other!
Cave Tours and Yanchep National Park
If you have a budding explorer on your hands then a cave tour at Yanchep National Park is sure to impress. The park has more than 400 recorded caves and you can enjoy a guided tour of the Crystal Cave, Yonderup Cave, Adventure Caving or the Cabaret Cave. Whilst visiting the park you could also enjoy a walk trail, a picnic with the kangaroos, visit the koala boardwalk or enjoy a handmade chocolate at Chocolate Drops!
Swimming and snorkeling at Yanchep Lagoon
A trip to Yanchep wouldn’t be complete without a visit to Yanchep Lagoon. This popular family beach is touted as one of Perth’s best beaches and it’s not hard to see why. On a calm day the reef situated just off shore creates a crystal clear lagoon making it the perfect place for the whole family to swim and snorkel. There are plenty of rock pools teaming with sea life to discover and during the summer season (October to March) the beach is patrolled by the Yanchep Surf Life Saving Club.
Enjoy a taste of farm life at Landsdale Farm School
Landsdale Farm School provides a farm experience for children right here in the City. The Farm provides an educational rural environment for families to interact with plants and animals to gain an appreciation for living things. It’s a fun day out offering train rides, herb and vegetable garden, animal feeding (check the website here for timing and full information) and there is even a cafe on site; the Haystack Cafe.
