Our beautiful coastline was highlighted in a recent Destination WA segment filmed by the team at Channel 9, with a focus on the area’s emerging coastal dining scene. Nikki Parkinson was lucky enough to visit three of the newest venues and sample their best signature dishes whilst taking in the ocean views.
The Beach House
The Beach House was built by award winning architects, Studio Gram and with a menu put together by renowned chef, Jacob D’Vauz, their menu is imaginative, enticing and designed to share. This cool spot offers a wide range of craft beers and an enviable wine choice and is a place to catchup with mates, relax over a lazy lunch or dinner with the family.
Oceans 27
Oceans 27 is a family run business, open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It has a laid back beach vibe and opens straight onto the grassy terrace leading down to the beautiful Shorehaven beach. The Ocean Board platter is to die for, with delicious fresh seafood and vibrant colours.
The Amberton
The ‘Ambie’ is fast becoming well known for its amazing paddock to plate produce, fresh their North Dandalup Melaleuka farm. Whilst you’re sampling the great menu, take a moment to appreciate the views perched high above the beach.
