The Cubby House at The Beach House
For those that live in Perth’s north, The Beach House in Jindalee is a great place to hang on a sunny day, especially due to their new addition of The Cubby House, a pop-up beer garden open December to April.
The Beach House is a modern spot, built amongst the sand dunes, is also opposite a huge park, the colourful Eden Beach playground will make for a great bargaining tool to get kids to eat their meals!
Head up the ramp to the Beach House and you’ll be greeted with lush plants and beautiful views of the Indian Ocean. The casual alfresco space (sheltered from the sea breeze) offers the same menu as the restaurant, you’ll just need to order at the large bar.
There’s plenty of high chairs available, as well as a kids menu featuring the usual favourites of Fish and Chips, Chicken and Chips and Cheeseburger and chips.
For the adults, a menu of crowd-pleasers is on offer for lunch and dinner as well as some interesting dishes. A choice of gluten free and veggie dishes are also available. The Beach House is also open for breakfast.
Located on the grassy area below is The Cubby House, which is open from December to April and offers a family-friendly chilled-out vibe.
There are picnic tables, rugs, umbrellas and lawn games to keep the kids entertained, plus the Eden Beach Foreshore Playground is within eyesight.
The Cubby House has a great burger menu, and kids meals are from $15. It’s a great place to chill by the ocean with a cold beer and enjoy live music on a weekend while the kids play.
