Discover the Trails
The Yanchep Play Trail and Yanchep Discovery Trail are self-guided, interactive experiences available through the free Play Trails WA app. Designed for families and young explorers, these trails turn a simple walk into an engaging adventure.
As you move through the park, content unlocks at each waypoint, featuring fun facts, mini challenges and stories that bring the park’s natural, cultural and historical features to life. It’s a great way to keep kids curious, active and connected to the environment around them.
- Yanchep Play Trail (1.2km): A shorter, family-friendly scavenger hunt around the lake and Visitor Centre
- Yanchep Discovery Trail (2.5km): A longer adventure for curious explorers ready to go a little further
How to Access the Trails
Getting started is easy:
- Download the Play Trails WA app
- Enter the trail codes:
- Play Trail: “Yanchep”
- Discovery Trail: “Discover”
Head to the park and start exploring!
Tip: Download the trails before you arrive, as mobile reception in the park can be limited.
